Raven walked into her house once more. She set down her bag on the window pane. The light shone on the glass , revealing words written in clear nail polish. It said: 'Darkness lies Where it is born, But Sun flies To light this room. ' Just a bit odd , eh? Above the down she had entered , the front door , and now closed , was words on a peice of wood. 'Who comes to me I keep,Who goes from me I free, Yet against all I stand Who carry not my key.' Even odder. And it kept getting odder. On the door handle hung a sachet full of herbs , in a plain purple velvet tie bag that was about two inchs on each side.By the fireplace was a basket filled with steams of plants. The kitchen was a typical country kitchen with an open window over the sink , fresh breeze drifting into the room. The floor was patterned with yellow tiles , the walls a pale shade of yellow. There was a wood shelf over the oak table that had a few jars of homemade jam.Blackberry , Bosenberry , Strawberry. The jars had not lids but cloths tied over the tops. Next to this was a few cook books....Or thats what the three books seemed to be. A little wooden box was next to these , with a black glass canister on top of it. Some bundled lavender hung from the very middle of this shelf , adding a cute touch. The stove was an old looking one , the legs of it iron cast , a kettle boiling on it. On the top ledge of the stove there was a few sea shells collected on the shore. On the window sill of the window above the sink a ruby red liquid had light streaming threw it as it sat in a beautifuly curved glass bottle with a cork. Next to this was a pot of basil , growing healthily in a clay pot.And to make things even stranger in the freezer was a bottle with a paper inside. The paper read: 'Your love will perish and quickly depart from thy head and from thy heart, from thy eyes and from thy hands; Let me be Mark Go you hence, Trouble me no more.' Ok , now this is strange to me , and this is my charcter. The kettle squeled and she went over and removed it , accidenlty spilling some of the hot water on her hand. She jumped back , the skin now raw and red where the water had hit. Tears formed in her deep blue eyes as it hurt very much. She placed he right hand softly over the burn. Old clod beneth the clay , Burn away , Burn away. She removed her hand and blew softly on the brun , then place it over it again. She repeted this three times. It felt better now.Much better , actually the burn was gone... But she took this as normal and simply picked up the kettle from the counter and poured the hot liquid into her favorite mug , a black rounded one. Then , putting the kettle back on the counter , put in a bag of Dragon's Blood tea. She picked up the redish toned liquid and sat down in her chair at the oak table. Edgar , a raven, was in his cage nearby it.He was napping , but stirred and opened his black button eyes to see his owner. He cawed loudly. Raven had her tea mug sitting on the table. The Raven? She asked the bird. He cawed again. She nodded and spoke. Presently my soul grew stronger; hesitating then no longer,`Sir,' said I, `or Madam, truly your forgiveness I implore; But the fact is I was napping, and so gently you came rapping,And so faintly you came tapping, tapping at my chamber door,That I scarce was sure I heard you' - here I opened wide the door; -Darkness there, and nothing more.Sje spoke the first verse of the poem. Earlier she had said the ohter three to him.He looked up at her wiht emotionless , unblinking , black button eyes that seemed to say:Well , What are you waiting for?!More! She sighed. No more Edgar. She chuckled andopened the cage.He admiditently hopped onto her forearm.Leaving her cup of steamning tea , she walked out the back door with him into her garden. Once in the lush , green area she snapped out her forearm , sending him into flight. He landed in a grassy spot , pecking and walking around. SHe smiled and lay on her stomach in the grassy area , watching the bird poke around. A smile spread on her face as she watched. Her black pants were snug around her body but not nessisarily tight. She was also wearing a pinstripe shirt and , of course , her combat boots. Her deep blue eyes were trained on Edgar as he hopped around.

He watched both girl and raven. Shea came running after him, she had become good at keeping an eye on Moon as he flew. She slowed as she saw the dead looking garden and the girl and the raven. Shea could feel Ravens gaze. Moon, who got frustard with the fact the Shea was so shy, flew over to Raven and landed at her feet. Flapping his wings to distracked from what he was really doing Mon untied Raven's shoe and took the shoe string and flew away. He gave it to Shea and screech at her to take it. Shea took it. "I don't understand your logic sometimes Moon" She said to the falcon as he Landed next to Edgar.

Moon liked shining things, not very Falcon of him but still. He flew over to look at the pentagram. He landed on Raven's arm to look at it. Shea wandered why Moon had come here, it was not a place where he would go.

"Sorry, Moon doesn't Know what is not his" she said walking up to Raven to give back the neckalce. Moon flew in fornt of her to stop Shea from going to Rave. He had his claws out and was ready to attack, Shea ducked and took a step back out of the garden. Moon stopped his attack for the moment. Moon cleaned his feather and acted like he was better then the people are him. Shea took the chance to go into the garden. She was close enough for her to give Raven the necklace, "It is very pretty" she said as Moon took to the air and started to attack. Shea duck and dodge but didn't moce. Moon soon grew bored and landed on her shoulder

Thanks. She said and put it back on. Edgar cawed again. She rolled her eyes at the bird , knowing he wanted to hear more of the poem. Hold on one second. She said then spoke to the bird. Once upon a midnight dreary, while I pondered weak and weary,Over many a quaint and curious volume of forgotten lore,While I nodded, nearly napping, suddenly there came a tapping,As of some one gently rapping, rapping at my chamber door.`'Tis some visitor,' I muttered, `tapping at my chamber door -Only this, and nothing more.[/size]

She said another verse. Ah, distinctly I remember it was in the bleak December, And each separate dying ember wrought its ghost upon the floor. Eagerly I wished the morrow; - vainly I had sought to borrow From my books surcease of sorrow - sorrow for the lost Lenore - For the rare and radiant maiden whom the angels named Lenore - Nameless here for evermore.
