A diary sat in the shelves of her house , The cover with a picture of a raven on it. SHe had left it away for a very long time , about three years , but now was beginning to write in it again...Most of the entries were old , from five years before , when it all started...

'Nevermore , Quoth the raven.' The part from that poem 'The Raven' rang off the walls of my head. Now , I have only read that poem once but the saying stays clear in my brain.I was walking by the pasture when something flew down past my face and landed on the fence post of Athena and Tarot's pasture , Tarot is her newborn colt. Then another one flew down and landed on the path nearby me.Ravens.Crows.Blackbirds.Whatveer you want to call them.They stared at me , black button eyes emotionless , unblinking. I shook my head and walked on , it was just birds after all.Yet they stood there stil , watching me.Then when I came to my house two more landed in front of me! I was no where near food for them , or water , or anything that would attract them. Why were they there? I mean , it was strange they all showed up in that same twenty seconds or so!They all stared at me now.I sped up and went into my house.

The cawing woke me up in middle of the night.One of them had gotten into the house.One of those birds. My parents were asleep in their beds upstairs. I was downstairs in my bedroom. I got out of bed and went to where I heard the sound. I like the ravens even if my parents dont. I went into the dining room and there was a young raven perched on the stove.He cawed again , looking up with button eyes. I know it sounds weird but it was like he was saying : What are you waiting for?! He looked at me , I was frozen.Omg.There was a bird in my house. He ended up in my room , and now im sitting at my desk with him on my shoulder. I like him.I want to keep him. Ow , He has his claws dug into my skin.I need a name for him if I am going to keep him....I'll search the raven on google. I looked it up and found a poem called ' The Raven' by Edgar Allen Poe. I read it to him and he liked it. I think i'll name him Edgar Allen Crow.

Well , His name is Edgar Allen Crow now.He stays in my room...But it's hard to keep him quiet. Im trying though.I dont want to let him go yet. Maybe if I make him a nest outside he'll stay there and wont leave.I think he likes me. He likes me to read him 'The Raven' poem alot. He caws over and over if I dont.Its theonly way I can ever keep him quiet enough. My Mom is coming!! And he's in my room!! My Mom almost saw him.But he flew out the window...He's gone.... I liked him.He was a good bird.I want him to come back , but he wont ... Im going to go look for him.It's 11pm...My parents are asleep.I dont have any brothers or sisters so....I should be able to get out. Well , Im going now. Im taking a flashlight and some snacks in my backpack.Oh and some fench bread for Edgar.He loves it.

I found him!!But im lost...I decided to take my diary with me.He's on my shoulder right now and we're somewhere in the woods. He found a necklace...It's really pretty.Its a five pointed star in a circle.It's silver. He let me take it from him and now i'm wearing it. I think I know where we are , but not sure.Maybe... Wait , I hear someone...Someone's calling me. Oh no...It's my Mom!
January 8th(Cause it's midnight) 2002

My Mom took the necklace when I asked her what it was. She said it was a pentagram and was an evil thing. It doesnt look bad. How can a star in a cicrle be bad? Edgar's gone too. She said I cant have a bird , let alone a raven.So he flew away.I miss Edgar already.And I want that necklace back. Im looking up Pentagram in google images.I got a picture that says the top point is Spirt the right top point is water. The bottom right
one is fire.The top left is air and top bottom earth. I dont get it! How is that evil?Gr...I want my necklace and my raven back. I saw her put the necklace in the cupboard. Im going to go get it.

Good god.I made such a fool of myself.I met this guy named Riku . Hes.....Hot. So anyways he met Edgar and me , Edgar doesnt like him much , and I lost my necklace when I was talking to him. Later today he came over to my hosue to give it to me. But right before he knocked I knocked down my cauldren WHILE brewing something!!! God , it was all over the floor.I threw it in the closet so he wouldnt see it. Too bad when I left the room he opened the freakin door!! He already thought I was 'witchy' I guess , by the looks of my house , and the fact I have a black cat and a raven. As if he needed more proof!! And Pooka knocked down a book labeled 'SPELLS' ! -Bangs head- Rawr....But ....I GOT KISSED. Omg. Riku kissed me.I am like spazzing!! SO he knows Im a witch.My animals are driving me crazy.And I got KISSED. Yay?
