Thao walked into the room. She was not very happy at the moment, they had taken away her pocket knife that her Grandpa gave her, he was from India. Thao looked at the girl writing a letter. She didn't know what to say to the girl, she was not a people person.

Epona was better with horses than people. People annoyed her , pretty obvious as the reason she was here was attempted murder.

Thao went over and grabed a book, she was a big reader. "So?" she asked she hate awarked slinces. She fliped to the first page and acted like she was reading, but her mind never saw the words. She was thinking of a way to get out of here.

Thao looked up from her book and said "At lest you were put here out of consern. I was just shipped off to get out of my parents' hair" She hated the fact that her parents didn't want here around, unlike her sister Ginny, who was so perfect in everyway.

She shook her head. Alteast you have family left.She said cooly. Her Mom had been drowned , her Dad beat her then he died.She was sent to livew with her big sister but she was murdered.After that Epona bonched from home to home with families who didnt want her until she had ended up here.

Thao looked up agin from her book. "What I have is not family, they are just people that gave me a place to stay, feed me and shipped me off to different places. While they had their own perfect family back home." She kept the hurt and anger out of her voice but it shone in her eyes. That was party of the problem.

She had given up reading it. "Shame that only some get lucky and the rest of us have to deal with the cruel word." She pulled her black her back and watched Epon. "MY sister gets everything she wants new cloths, new shoes anything, and they ship me off to this place." it was not like she was talking to the other girl more just too herself.

Thao looked at the girl. She had never had someone who understood her pain, others had just be tuogh and the such but none had been reject by the poel who said that they would love you and hold you close. "I think I have gone numb in side thought, it is better then feeling the pain"

Yeah.It is sometimes.But the pain wakes you up.She said.She had been through alot. One of her 'friends' , Kyle , had raped her two weeks ago.

"Very true" Thao said. She remember the first person she had assalted(sp), the girl had been making fun of her for a very long time. Then one day Thao just snapped and took the book she had in her hand, which was a hard back and about 300 pages, and hit the girl so hard it broke her nose. Of course when she got home no one was there, they had all gone to HAwii. just to think about it made her heart ach a little. Her story was not as painful as some though.
