He smiled slightly , weakly , glad Dixie's pain had lessoned.He kissed the top of her head.

The docotr moved her back to her room.
Dixie smiled weakly as Jake kissed her head. She continued to hang on to his hand but not as tightly.

They put Dixie in her room and gave her some morphine.
Dixie closed her eyes she was tired sore and in pain.

He saw the sleeping Alex then looked at Dixie again before relizing Epona had slipped off somewhere.
