OLYMPIC 'to run with the eagles' Dawn broke, and with it rose a tiny filly. Spindly legs supported a small mass, ribs jutting out from lack of food. An unusual star grew upon a broad forehead, pelt of bay, beady brown eyes open to view the world. She was not a week old, and hadn't yet discovered the green goodness of grass.
Frail auds percked on her skull, swiveling in every direction to take in every sound. Tiny daggers stabbed the earth as the filly wearily made her way to a small flicker of a stream. She spread her forelegs wide, carefully lowering her tiny maw to the water. Her nostrils flared and she sniffed the liquid, water shooting up the her nose. The fillies head shot up, suprise flickering through her eyes, snorting and sniffling to rid of the water.
When she finally convinced herself that there was nothing to fear, she again brought herself close to the water. She gazed for a second, tilting her small skull to the side. There was another filly like herself staring back at her. Where did this creature come from? The filly snorted and rasied her head, splashing a tiny hoof in the water as she pranced off.

The filly's wide eyes glanced up at the mare. Long, soft lashes tickled the top of her eyelids, nostrils flared to recieve the scent from the mare. The filly shook slighlty, then took a step back. Her frail sides heaved with every step, in bad need of her mothers milk. Why wasn't she good enough for her mother? A small sigh came from the fillie's maw, and the tiny fae collapsed lightly into the long greens about her, pillars tucked underneath her tiny body, short neck and tiny head splayed out across the earth.

The filly watched from the ground as the mare spoke. She decided to go. Maybe this larger one had food, food her mother didn't care to supply her with. She filly untucked her pillars, pulling herself from the ground and made her way to the mare. She reached her, and pressed against her, feeling her warmth. It felt good to feel warm, protected. Thank you. The filly whispered. I am Olympic.

The filly glared at the mare, shaking her head, only getting angered by her calmness. No! You're lieing! She cried, trotting briskly away from the mare. Away from the meadows. She wearily made her way back to where her mother left her, collapsing, ribs rising and falling quickly.

The filly merey layed back in the grasses. Weak, tired. She didn't want this mare as her mother. She didn't forgive her own mother for abandoning her. She didn't wish to live upon this earth any longer. Sleep took hold of the filly, sides rising and falling methodicly.

The filly heaved one more sigh, then the life was taken from her. Small eyes lay open, but cold. Her body lay motionless, as a white spirit, un seen to all horses, rose from the mass. A larger spirit joined the filly, and then two trotted lightly away, happy and healthy. The youngsters body lay stiff. Dead.

The two ghosts stood away from the mare. Did you love her? The large one asked. The filly sighed. No. I didn't. I don't. She was trying to force me into going with her, just like my mother forced me to leave. She didn't ask me if I wanted to go with her. The fillies eyes saddened.

Midnight then realised she had forced the poor filly. She hit her head on a tree knoking her out..
