Kiari had set Jora down on some hay bales after having found her at Mystic Springs.She had gotton too close to the waters and burned herself somehow.She was passed on the scrathcy bales. Sayonce had brought them here. Kiari's stomach was very big because she was still pregnant. She looked around for someone that could help Jora. Not seeing Junior , she went to the rack room and got the first aid kit.
Sayonce stood over Jora ,watching her.Normally she would not be this close to the ranch so seeing her there meant osmething was wrong.

Jora was somewhat with it but could not make herself open her eyes. She knew that she was on something hard and prickly and that someone was standing over her wating her. She mouned in pain as her feet throbbed.

Sayonce touched the girl with her maw , showing a strang etype of gentleness.While she was a dark mare , her power made her have some compassion. To raise the dead and heal you had to have a little bit of it. Her burns were healed now. Sayonce whirled around on her hind qaurters and cantered abck to the springs , where she belonged.

Jora felt the healing touch of the mare but by the time she came to the mare was gone. "Thank you" she said to the air. Looking at her feet she was surpised at how well the looked. Slowly she stood up and started to wander around looking for the person who helped her.

Jora saw Kiari come out of the tack room and went up to her. "Thank you for saving me. Could I help you out around here?" she asked. Jora was looking for a job and need a place to keep her horse, Sharai.

"Thank you so much" Jora siad "How much is boreding?" she always asked these things, being on a tight buget didn't help.

200 a month.She answered.It was cheap for the kind of ranch it was.There was 200 acres of pasture for the resident horses , twenty five stalls , trails , an arena ,and everything else a good ranch sould have.

Jora thought this over. "How many acres?" she asked. Jora was always looking for a deal. If she was going to bring Sharai here and work she need to knows these things. She wiggled her toes on the floor. She had almost forgot she was barefoot.

Jora thought it over as she went to look into a stall. "IF I worked here could some of my paycheck go to the bord?" The stalls were nice. She didn't mind working around horses. They were easier to understand.

She nodded. Sure. There is alot of horses here. Most girls think it's too much work , but I think it's heaven.She said , smiling.

"I would rather work all day out side then two hours inside." Jora said "Do you have a pair of boots i could borrow? If so I could start today, and bring Sharai here tomorrow." She almosted laughed as she looked at her bare feet. She had been in Pony Club for a long time and knew how they would forwn on being barefooted in a barn.

She laughed lightly. Sure.I'll go get them.She said and kind of wadled into the tack room.She came back ,handing her a pair of black boots.
