 WAKANDAYou say I'm rare You say that I am the only one but you just want me for my ablities to pass on my color of my coat Well I have had enough, they speak of great things on the other side I must run, run away from you with your ropes, whips and random brutes You say i am catch able but you have not see the strength of the horse I will run, run far away from you with your ropes, whips and random brute Wakanda stopped about a 1/4 of a mile from the springs to catch her breath. She could hear the hounds a mile away looking for her secnt. They sounded confussed and lost, which Wakanda had planed on when she entered this land. It was filled with other Equines and the dogs had not had a fresh secnt all day so they soon forgot what they were looking for. Wakanda took this rare moment to catch her breath and rest, her legs were quaking under her weight. She had galloped about 5 only slowing till the end but the hounds slowed too. She could tell that they had found her secnt by the way all the hounds and people yelling. She waited till the were 1/4 a mile from her before taking off again. Wakanda almost ran into the spring but something stoped her. She put on her breaks almost to late and slid only millimetters from the water but in the process throwing rocks into the water which made the water lape around her hoof. The hounds and Humans closed the gap between the clearing and themself. |

Wakanda turned her attendtion to the mare who spoke to her, with fear and a tiredness in her eyes. Wakanda didn't know if she could trust this mare but figtrued that she might beable to help if she knew that land. "The Humans are chassing me and a stumble upon the spring and the clear without meaning to treapass but I can not go back with them. It is not my fate to have foal after foal for them I just know it" Wakanda blurred out before she could stop herself, she did not know what the great and mystical powers the water held.

Sayonce dipped her dial. Dont go in the water.She said in a hoasre , sleepless voice and went back into her grove.

Wakanda watch the black mare dissapear and listen as the hound drew closer. Don't in the Water Stilled echoed in her mind and part of her want to listen to it but the other part the rebel part that had gotten her into this mess told her "Do it Do it Do it" Wakanda did not have much time to decide What harm can come from just touching the water with one hoof she asked herself as she gently set one hoof in the shallowest part of the spring.

Wakanda pulled her hoof out of the water as quick as seh could. IT hurt so bad, she looked around hoping the mare didnot see her stupid mistake before limping back from the spring. Wakanda knew that she would have to think of someway other then running to escap the hounds now.

Wakanda stoped and looked over her shoulder as if listening to the water. She walked over to it but did not get close to the spring. Part of her was greedy and wanted to touch it onemore time but something stop her as she gazed into the clear water as if looking for something.
