Rain entered the land not sure who it belonged to. She had her mind only on one thing and that was water. SHe went over and drank awhile for she was dehydrated. She lifted her head and gazed at the sun her grey coat looked like a shimmering white.

RED BLOOD 'pour the blood from my soul' The gray stallion stepped from the trees, the trees which provided shade from the burning sun that bore into his back. Stone eyes glancing at the mare, he slowly walked towards her, long tail flicking behind him to rid of the bloodthirsy flies. His long neck hung loose and relaxed, eyes half shut to the rays of sunlight. This mare seemed lost, but it couldn't hurt to talk. He neared her, and slowed, bowing his own neck to drink the cool water of the stream. He finished the intake, and raised his head to glance at the mare.
Hello, m'am. A restricted voice echoed. His orbs glistened, taking in the mare. Yes, she was taller than him, with a frame of hers, his own 15.2 frame looked meek, tiny. Are you lost, m'dear? His eyes questioned along with his voice.
The stag was happy, he had a wonderful life, and was blessed to come by Sage, who wisely took him in. But sometimes, he wished for more. His life would be coming to an end soon, and being the mere helping hand to a strong, willful stallion was getting tiring, and old. He wished for his time to come, but now, it looked like it never would.

Rain looked at the slightly shorter stallion. She smiled no I am not lost I was really thirsty and took a drink. I had no idea this land was yours.

He chuckled slightly, slim sides rising and falling with each laugh. As he settled, his sides slimed, showing how he stood; ribs sticking out finely, everybone showing just slightly, but plenty of muscle and meat on each one. Honey, this isn't really my land. I'm just a playalong, the true leader is off finding mares for his herd. You might have heard of him, Sage.
His eyes lost some glisten as the truth sank in. No, he was not the leader of any herd, never was, never would be. He was merely a tag along. No one really wanted him there, he was of no use. Well, yes, I guess this is a good place for a drink. He smiled. Are you alone?

The stag nodded. Well, that isn't very pleasant, is it? He gave a small smile. My name's Red Blood, RB for short. A light bow came from his neck and skull, raising his head, he asked, May I ask your name, m'dear? The stallion settled his haunches, long tail blowing slightly in the wind, mane tassels toying with the breeze, reaching out like long, bony fingers.

Well, honey, if you like the alone status, I'll gladly leave you to your buissness, he spoke, but if you're looking for company, and comfort, would you be interested in joining the Amien Herd? he questioned cautiously. He knew nothing of this mare, didn't know if she had a bad past with herds, or if she just chose to be alone. But he had to start somewhere.

Well, Rain, pleasure to have you in our herd, You'll be pleased to hear, you're the first member. He smiled and nudged her lightly with his nose. Sage should be back soon, you can meet your lead. He can be quite intimidating at times, but don't worry, you'll get used to him. He flashed a grin. And hey, if you get sick of him, come see me, I'll always be here.

His orbs slightly widened as he entered the trees. The two leggeds? He'd never known the horror of two legs, and he never planned to. He nodded slightly, stopping and turning to watch her from under the shade of his trees.
