Swan chose to tag along and drink beside him. She dipped her maw into the clear waters of the pond she had just been gazing into. She winced slightly as the cold waters filled her barrel.

She managed a real smile, one that lit her face up and turned her vibrant. The smile didn't last long and she returned dull again. Tadpoles and Crayfish swam around her daggers.

It was nice to see something so full of life, for once. Swan figured as the tadpoles proformed figure eights between her front daggers.
