When they were nearing the cliff she sped up , only a few yards from the edge. It looked as if she was going to jump off.

He stayed by her not even seeing the edge.

When she had about an inch until she would have went flying off and whirled around on her hinds , powerful quarters jolting her to a controlled stop , pillars lashing out.
