Jake looked at the mare beside Epona.She was wild , that was clear.He said nothing , not wanting Epona to know they were there. Epona had tears in her eyes. Not again...Who this time?She asked her softly. Kira Kira lifted her dial up and nickered , like she was speaking to Epona.Epona nodded.Im sorry girl.

The cuts weren't too deep , most of them were just barely breaking the skin.Most of them were on the sides of her flanks , clueing in on what had happened. Epona was mad stallions always did this to Kira Kira , for she was a sweet mare who just wanted another equine to befriend her instead of hurting her.Epona patted her neck softly.

He accepted her hand and squeezed it lightly. The mare seemed to smile faintly in a horse way towards the girl. Epona smiled through her tears forming and hugged her neck. It'll be alright Kira.
