Kyle looked over at Dixie.While him and Epona had gone back to friends of course he cared about her. Epona...He said , tone giving away what had happened.

Dixie got out of the hospital bed even though Epona had risked her life. Dixies legs were weak and she fell on her knees holding her shoulder she scrambled to her feet where is she dixie asked.

Jake supported Dixie. She's downstairs...Kyle said , not believing it.He couldn't believe she was dead.Epona. The girl he had known almost his whole life. His best friend.The one he had played football with when they wereten. The one who actually got him to start swimming. The one who had almost stood by him and given him courage like when they were seven and he was scared to go down down the big rollercoster so she went with him.Epona was gone. He wouldn't ever try to show a funny picture of her to someone and be tackled to the ground for it. He ,her ,and Dixie would never get to hang out at the barn together. She was....Gone. Jake couldn't cry though.He wouldn't let himself. Dixie , Stay here.I'll be right back.He said to her then went down stairs. From where he was standing in the room he could see Epona's body on the floor , in the waiitng room.Everyone had been tzken out of the room and now police were there. The girl's hair covered her face so she couldn't be seen. She was wearing jeans and a blooded tshirt. Jake could see....Bullet wounds in her back.Someone had shot her? He ran over , pushing past police. Please step back sir.A man in uniform said. That's my best friend!Let me in!He said , trying yo get to her. Eventually he got in , going to Epona's side.He moved her hair from her face. It wasn't Epona. This girl's hair was much longer and her futures were different.But the likliness between Epona and this girl was uncanny. He stood and moved away from the body , turning and going back upstairs , entering the room with a smile on his face.

Dixie looked at Jake holding her shoulder what are you smiling about she asked confused. He didnt look sad so was it Epona she thought to herself.
