Jake was moved away as docters and nurses went to Dixie.
Epona was gone now.She had left.

Alex crawled out from under the bed grabbing Jakes hand.
Dixie did not move after all she is unconcious.

He scooped Alex up , covering his eyes.He didnt need to see the blood.
She still had the gun , in her pocket , a grim sign of death , as she moved, down the road.What would she do with it?

Alex allowed Jake to cover his eyes.
Dixie woke with the doctors putting her on a stretcher. She looked at Jake and held out her bloody hand wanting Jake to come with her.

He took her hand , blood from her's marring on his skin but he didn't care.
She was entering a field now , Gun at her side. She lifted it , pointing at something , someone , until a familar sound was behind her...

She held his hand weakly blood spilling out of the wound. Her eyes rolled in the back of her head she was dying and quickly. HURRY the doctors said shes gonna bleed to death.

Tears had now began to make their way down his cheeks. Hold on Dixie...Please.He pleaded as he went with them.
Epona turned.Toska was standing there.

They took her into the emergency room her heartbeat low as the began to dig bullets out she flatlined and the Doctors did CPR trying to revive her but no use Dixie was gone. The doctor went to Jake and Alex I'm sorry he said looking down at the floor.

Tears spouted from Jake's blue eyes as he was still holding Dixie's bloody hand. Her belly was bumped softly with the unborn pair inside , her chest no longer rising . He couldnt bare this feeling.It felt like everything had been ripped away from him and he was alone. He didn't let go of her hand as he put his other hand softly on her cheek.

Jake's eyes were heavy with greif , saddness , and somewhere hate.Hate for the godly creature who dared take Dixie away.Hate for Matt for shooting her.And , he coudn't believe this , hate for Epona driving Matt to shoot Dixie. He leaned over her , not able to make himself break away from the body of his wife. Her olive toned skin would soon be cold he knew. He passed a hand over her eyelids softly , closing them. He kissed her softly on the cheek like he was saying goodbye even though deep down he knew he could never say goodbye to her. Sleep well....He whispered.She did look like she was sleeping with her eyes closed like that , except for the fact that blood was everywhere.

suddenly the machine caught a heartbeat. Dixies eyes slowly opened and she touched Jakes cheek softly. She breathed in the the precious air her lungs had lost what happened she tought I didnt die did I.

His eyes became bright , still glimmering with some tears that had not yet fallen , as he saw life enter Dixie , once more. Her chest had begun to rise and fall again. As her hand touched his face , happiness filled him.She was alive.Barely , but she was alive. Dixie.He said , in slight disbleif but mostly overwhelmed with joy.

Jake she said weakly why are you crying. I remember seeing a bright light and I went to it but I said I'm not ready yet and I woke to see you crying she smiled weakly heaven is a maginificient place.
