Dixie got up early that morning to go get her little brother from foster care. She got in the truck and drove into town. She came to the foster home and put the truck in park. She got out and knocked on the door. A little boy about five opened the door he resembled Dixie in a way. Hey Alex Dixie smiled DIXIE he squealed and jumped in her arms she gave him a hug so you ready to go home now. Dixie talked to the Foster parent and left. She buckled Alex in the booster seat got in the truck and went back to Angel Ranch. When they arrived Alex had fallen asleep in the seat. Dixie smiled and unbuckled his seatbelt and slowly pulled him out of the truck shutting the door with her hip. She walked tward the door.

Dixie grinned back and brought Alex inside and layed him on the couch and kissed him on the head while covering him up. Dixie looked at Jake.

Alex sat up rubbing the sleepies from his eyes.
