Dixie was out near the pasture when she spotted a painted mustang. She watched him as he galloped near the pasture. She had seen him often and named him Hidalgo. Hidalgo perked his ears for he saw a two legged being. He trotted up to Dixie curiously he snorted at her Dixie laughed. Hidalgo nuzzled this being for she made him feel all fuzzy inside. Dixie rubbed her hand down his neck. Hidalgo nickered to her softly Dixie smiled at him softly mustangs dont normally do this she thought. Dixie kissed him on the nose. Hidalgo lipped her hair he looked at her stomach that bulged alittle he looked at it curiously. Dixie patted his neck she spoke softly thats my baby even though she was only a couple of weeks pregnant her belly was already bulging. Dixie turned and started to walk to the barn she heard hooves behind her. She turned and Hidalgo was by her side. She patted him and spoke you gonna follow me to feed the horses she smiled. He tossed his head like yea. Dixie continued to walk Hidalgo on her heels. Dixie fed the horses and looked for Jake where was he she shrugged. She gave a scoop of food to Hidalgo in a bucket there you go boy she smiled Hidalgo ate it slowly. Dixie sat on some hay squares Hidalgo layed down on the ground at her side. Dixie smiled and patted him. Dixie drifted off into a light sleep Hidalgo stayed by herside slowly falling to sleep himself.

Hidalgo stood and nuzzled Dixie. Dixie woke to Hidalgos whiskers tickling her face hey boy she spoke petting him. She looked up and saw Epona and a mare. Hey Epona Dixe spoke.

Epona nearly lept at the sound of Dixie's voice. Uh...Hi.She said.Toska put her head behind Epona's back like that was going to hide her.

Dixie laughed did I scare you Epona. Dixie looked at Hidalgo then the mare known as Toska.
Hidalgo nickered to Toska.

Dixie stood up petting Hidalgo on the neck.
Hidalgo stood still as Dixie got up and petted him. Nice to meet you Toska he smiled.
