Sayonce , a mare of pure dark hue darker than midnight hour , slinked into Siren Beach.The salty breeze tossed her ribbons in the air , her stream flying out.The strands of mane and tail whirled around her as a call rang out for someone to come.

Flicka trotted up to Sayonce as she had her call from far off. Her ebon coat looked like charcoal in the sun. lo' I am Flicka she smiled.
