Opal stuck out her head toward Epona.
"what IS your name? I'm Rain."
She smiled dispite her confusion and worry.

She smiled at them slightly then hopped the pasture fence and whistled lowly. A dun mare in the trees pricked her auds and trotted out.

The mustang mare went over to Epona , eyeing Rain warily.

Rain smiled again, but brighter. She liked the idea of freedom.
"Opal would've been wild too, but she was gonna be put down is she was unowned in the wild again."
Opal nickered in agreement.

Rain smiled a bit less, but still happily, her shadow was on her side now, and the sunbeat down upon her.

Toska tossed her dial , sending smokey ribbons flying in the air as she nickered for her colt to comef rom the shadows. Levi heard his dam and walked out.

She nickered a soft thank you then nudged the coal colored colt gently.He tottered over and nursed greedily.

Rain looked at the colt and mare. They were so happy. She wished the same for Opal.
Looking back at Epona, she made sure her eyes were blue.
