The stallion stood, all fours outstretched. Sides growing and slimming methodical, another small trickle of red seeping down his neck. Eye searched desperately, trying to find an escape. The door remained locked, no one dared enter the box. The boy..yes. He'd left quite a while ago, left. Left the stallion to go crazy in his prison. The fall played back through his mind. He wanted to slow, he tried to slow, but the boy kept kicking him on. Autumn had trusted him. He had trusted him. That two legged that had stole him from his freedom, his happiness. They had fell, the equine came crashing down into the rocks and soil harshly, stabbing his head violently on a rock. Time passed as he lay there, blood draining from his veins, staining the greens around him. He had through he was dead, certainly, this had to have been the end. But then that thing moved. He couldn't let it near him. The boy would try to hurt him again. The stallion reared up again, angrily striking hooves out. He had to get out of this place, this hell hole.
Zack shook his head. It would take a long time to help the stallion back, and he just wasn't in shape to work intensely with him yet. Zara was in the hospital, he had a broken arm. Things weren't going well. The boy walked out to his truck, and pulled himself inside. He reached into the back seat and pulled his cell up. Directing himself to the in box, he pressed open. 1 new message. He placed the phone to his ear, and braced himself for anything bad. All of the color drained from his face as he listened to the doctors words. Sh*t. He started the car and sped out into the afternoon traffic.
Zacharie looked around anxiously as he entered the ER, walking through the injured people waiting for service. He stopped at the front desk, getting room information, and then jogged towards Zara's door. He raised a fist to the door and knocked quickly, impatient.He paced nervously as no reply came from his knock. |

Zara was in there , alone , but did not hear the knock.She was facing Zierra , who she was of course imagining. Please Zierra...Please jsut leave.I don't want you here.Zara wimpered after about an hour of turtore from talking to her sister. I can't leave Zara.You brought me here.You're the one who is crazy.She hissed. You can't even stay sane for more than a year.You can't even bring yourself not to let people down.She spat and then was gone.

Zack held his ear to the door. Pleading. He heard pleading. Zara, pleading. He pushed the door open and tumbled in to find Zara laying in her bed, alone, straps bounding her back. Zack's eyes widened in horror as he rushed to her side. Zara, Zara I'm here. What is it? Why did they do this to you? He asked, running his hand over her wrist and the leather bondings. It disgusted him. |

Zara looked over at Zack , forcing a smile even though she saw Zierra behind him. Hey...Because they won't leave me alone....She said.By they she meant David ,Zierra ,and her mother. I think i'm crazy Zack...I'm sorry...She said queitly.

Zack's eyes hardened. No, honey, no you're not crazy. He placed his hand up against her cheek. Why would you say that. He looked over her bondings. What crazy f*cking fool would do this to her? They'd better stay away from him, because the things he would do to them...They had no right to do this. |

He wasn't convincing her she wasn't crazy. Because I keep seeing them....She said. Zierra and Mom...She said quietly.The touch of his hand on her cheek was comforting but not very.She was still shaken.But was glad he was there with her now.

Zack's rough hand tightened slightly on her cheek. Zara, listen to me. He focused on her eyes. You are not crazy. He spoke sternly, but caring, trying to convince her of it. He thought of Zierra and the mom in the back of his mind, why was she seeing them? Honey, you're not crazy, you aren't. His words slowly turned from trying to convince her to trying to convince himself. He leaned his head down against the bed rail. |

Zara listened to him but still didn't believe him. Can you undo these straps?She asked , wanting to be out of the cuffs that held her to the hospital bed. Her gaze held his , pale blue eyes that usually were calm and cool were now lost seeming in the hospital room.

Zack's eyes clouded. Are you sure? He uncertainly moved his hands towards the straps, slowly un tieing them. Zacharie...don't do it. He pushed the thoughts away in his mind, freeing the girl from her boundries. |

Zara closed her eyes for a split second in relief of being set free from the leather cuffs that bond her to the hospital bed. She looked him straight in the eyes. Thank you...She said , grateful to be released. She bit her lip as she saw Zierra come up behind him , putting her head over his shoulder and whispering to Zara. Zara sweetie , lay down.You need your rest.She said , words dripping like venom from her lips.Zara forced her gaze on Zack and not on the imaginary Zierra. She's not real...She's not real...

She smiled weakly at him , laying her hand on his cheek softly. She tried even harder to ignore the fact Zierra was walking to her side, leaning down and whispering in her ear. Zara , go ahead.Tell him how much you love him.Only for his heart to be broken when you leave him for David.She hissed. Zara's even suddenly blazed with anger.She spun around to Zierra. SHUT UP ! SHUT UP! SHUT UP!She screamed at the air.

She turned around to Zack again. I'm sorry.I-i wasn't talkign to you....She said queitly , afraid to say she was seing things but also afraid for him to think she was yelling at him. She glanced back at Zierra.She was gone. Whats wrong with me!? Why won't it stop...She thought. She drew her knees to her chest and wrapped her arms around them like she was cold.

He walked backwards, stopping as his back hit the wall. Then, Zara, who were you talking to? Clearly, there's no one here but the two of us. His eyes narrowed slighly. What's going on, Zara? |
