Sharari walked into the clearing. She moved slowly not sure what to think of the springs. Sharari was told to show respect to the spring, but didn't know how. She stood over the water looking into it. Stupid dare she thought to herself as she looked into the water. Sharari had to stick her head out to see in the water. She didn't want to get close to it but her friends were watching her in the woods.

Sayonce aproched.the tall mare towered over Sharari. Do you wish to die.She demanded more than asked. Her black bodice was shimmering in pale moonlight.

Sharari pulled her head back and turned to look at Sayonce. "MAybe" she said, she had a smart mouth and use it often. Her pelt looked like a rose in the late moonlight. "What is it to you anyways?" Sharari asked as if all the fear in her turned to smart alckeness.(new word)

"Do you protect the spring from the people or the peole from the springs?" Sharari asked. She was always one asked questioned, it had gotten her into a lot of trouble when she was younger.

"And what is your great warning to horses?" Sharari asked shiftin gher weight. She didn't like it here, if her friend Ducky had not dared her she would have never been here, but as it turns out she was.I wish i could say no to a dare she thought to herself, but she still had to touch the water.

The other horses looked at each other and ran off. Leaving Sharari alone with Sayonce and the springs. Sharari watched her friends leave, true friends by butt she thought to herself.

"What if i just touched it?" Sharari asked, she didn't want to go hearing story about what happen to horses who went in it. She knew she should have ran with her friends, but the water looked so peacefull and welcoming.

She walked to the water , dipped her hoof in and it turned dark and stirring. When you touch it.

Sharari watched the water turn black and stirr. It still puzzled her how the spring got there though. She made a face at it and thought some more "but how did it become so acidy, sure that is not nartual? I guess that is what i am asking"
