But , however , he had. Now a scream from somewhere about a mile away rang out from a mare's vocals.It was hoarse and loud....

No call returned it.
From where the call was from a body of a mare lay on the ground.It was maimed so futures weren't competly clear, but the pelt was coal hued , now stained with blood...

Stay here, Breeze. Stryder said when nothing reatched his auds, he bolted forwards. When he came 'pon the torn body of his love, he felt like he'd just been struck by lightning and paralized.

Stryder could not bring himself to move closer to it- the body that is. A terrible feeling that he'd remembered having before, although not as sever had grasped him.

Still not moving , the body lay , blood beginning to drip out of it.
Back at the place they had been , Raine returned , nudging Omen up. She looked around for Stryder.

Stryder leaned against a tree so that he didn't have a heart attack.
Breeze looked up at Raine, surprised that she had not returned with her father.
